Celebrating Art Winners

The national Celebrating Art Contest recently announced the winners for their Fall contest. Ten Sidney art students have had their artwork selected to be published in the Celebrating Art book:  Stephanie Childress, Chloe Deiber, Josephine Glenn, Liv Graham, Autymn Sowell, Madelynn Hume, Anna Zavadil, Brayden Inman, Sophie Shirley and Jocelyn Tackett. Slide show of pictures. Special Olympics Bowling

Over 1,400 people competed in the Iowa Special Olympics Bowling Tournament on Friday, November 21st.  The competition took place in several parts of Iowa, with our Sidney athletes competing in Omaha at Maplewood Lanes.  Mallari Olson, a tenth grader, took home the gold!  Her family and friends were there to cheer her on.  Audrey Goodman, an 11th grader, had her own cheering section as she took home a bronze . . .
