Mrs. Beck's Physics students went out to the gun range in Shenandoah with SRO Logan Roberts for a lab. The purpose of the lab is to use the motion of a projectile to determine its initial velocity. Sidney JH & HS art students recently participated in the annual Spring Celebrating Art Contest. This online art competition, sponsored by Blick Art Materials, invites selected students to have their artwork published in their book. Only about 30% of entries received are invited to be published. Mrs. Beck's 9th Grade class took a field trip to the SAC Museum. The students learned about forces and energy from the Leonardo DaVinci exhibit of machines. The kids learned alot and had a great time!

Biology students in Rhonda Almquist's Classroom participated in an Earth Day activity on April 22. The activity was organized by Matt and Amanda Dollison and several other NRCS employees as well as students Mason Dovel, Trevor Contreas-Bohlen, and Jarek Lindner.
