Sidney Pride Marching Band won 1st Place
The Sidney Pride Marching Band won 1st Place in the marching band division of the Popcorn Day Parade on September 8th in Hamburg, Iowa. The Sidney Pride won $500 for receiving 1st place! The students marched against area bands including Nebraska City, Shenandoah, Rockport, Fairfax, and Fremont-Mills. This was the debut parade for the brand new Sidney Pride Marching Band uniforms. Th
e next parade the Sidney Pride will march in is the annual Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree in Clarinda on September 28th.
