Dalyce Erickson was an active member in Sidney's athletics; she was involved in cheer, dance, softball, volleyball, and track. Her favorite memory was watching Coach Lang jam out to Taylor Swift in the school van on the way to a football game. The person who has had the biggest educational impact on Dalyce has been Mary Woltemath, because she is always willing to help and she also has taught me everything I need to know up to this point about becoming a nurse. Dalyce plans to attend a four-year university to get her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She would like to pursue this career because she enjoys helping people. Dalyce would give the underclassmen the advice to prioritize time and what is important. She would also tell them to get involved in the community. Dalyce says to be prepared for everything and never give up. “Give it your all and you’ll get where you want to be.” In 5 years Dalyce sees herself with a degree in nursing who helps diagnose and treat patients of all ages.
